Trumbull County Family and Children First Council shall promote and facilitate the highest level of collaboration to provide effective, accessible and efficient services for families.

About the Council:  
   
The Trumbull County Family and Children First Council is working to improve the lives of families by identifying
services, examining service gaps and developing strategies to close those gaps.
The Council is a diverse and inclusive partnership of organizations and individuals and all who care about families are encouraged to join. Parents and other family members are our most important members and are always welcome.
 
Trumbull County Family and Children First Council Committees and Workgroups:
 
Executive Board – The Executive Board, in the absence of specific direction from the Council, shall have and exercise all powers of the Council in the conduct of Council business and affairs, including but not limited to, administering and overseeing an annual operating budget, hiring and supervising the Coordinator and handling conflict resolution.
 

Systems Integration Committee – The goal of the committee is to establish a quality improvement system for council which generates meaningful information about service system functioning and which leads to improvements in system management and decision-making.

Communications and Information Committee – The goal of the committee is to build and strengthen Council’s communication linkages to key segments of the Trumbull County community.

Parent Power - The goal of this group is to plan and implement programs or activities that provide important information on topics that interest and benefit parents.

Parent Advisory - The parent representatives on Council meet to provide parent and consumer perspective on local services, Council activities and community needs.

Community Health Assessment Committee - This committee of health professionals, agency representatives and consumers examines the health needs of the community,  identifies gaps, and plans for services to meet these needs.
